Dr. Warren Raggio, Lake Charles, was elected president of the Louisiana State University Medical Alumni Association at its annual meeting Friday on the Baton Rouge campus.
Other officers elected were: Dr. Claude Craighead, New Orleans, first vice-president; Dr. Marshall Scarle, Hammond, second vice-president; Dr. T. G. Biggs, Oak Grove, third vice-president, and Dr. R. L. Simmons, New Orleans, secretary-treasurer.
Officers were elected at a luncheon and business session at which Dr. William W. Frye, dean of the LSU school of medicine, discussed the school's expansion program and new building. Recent medical advances were discussed by faculty members of the school at morning and afternoon sessions.
