Fourteen former Southwestern Louisiana Institute students are among the 105 graduates for the degrees of Doctor of Medicine from the Louisiana STate University
School of Medicine. The fourteen
candidates obtained their pre-medi-cal training at Southwestern.
The LSU graduation exercises will be held at 8 p.m. Monday, June 1, in the John M. Parker agricultural center in Baton Rouge.
The fourteen candidates are Martin D Allain, New Iberia; Louis Burroughs, New Orleans; William Burroughs, New Orleans; Kenneth L. Fournet, Lafayette; Thomas H. Givens, Lafayette; John J. Guidry, Rayne; Joe B. Hargroder, Church Point; Oscar W. Hilton, Alexandria Donald J. LeVasseur, New Orleans; Charles C. Martin, Lafayette; Joseph Felix Morel, New Roads; Ronald E. Pepitone, Cottonport, and John S. Robinson, Homer.
