Dr Henry E. Meleney, who will re tire as Hermann M. Big^s Professor of Preventive Medicine at the College of Medicine of the New York University - Bellevue. Medi cal Center June 30, will become research professor in medicine at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans July 1, L. S. U. President Troy H. Middleton announced today
Dr. Meleney has also been director of the preventive medicine service at the Medical Center's University Hospital and associate visiting physician at Bellevue Hospital, with which the Medical Center is affiliated, since joining the New York faculty in 1941.
Dr. Meleney will continue his teaching and research interest in tropical and preventive medicine at L. S. U.
