Excerpted text	A series of lectures will be delivered before various groups here in observance of Mental Health Week, Dr. Loyd W. Rowland, director of the Louisiana Society for Mental Health, announced. "We have a long way to go in Louisiana in providing proper institutional care for the mentally ill" Dr. Rowland said, "(but) recent progress has been gratifying. Southeast Louisiana hospital at Mandeville is the newest and most modern institution in the South and has the finest equipment available for the treatment of mental illness.
