Miss Patricia Sallas, New Orleans, medical technologist, was named president-elect at the final session of the annual convention of the Louisiana State Society of Medical Technologists. The meeting was at the Monteleone Hotel.
Miss Sallas will serve in 1954-55. At the previous convention Mrs. Dorothy Preddy was elected to serve this year.
Other officers are Miss Evelyn Lane, Shreveport, secretary, and Miss Elizabeth Norsworthy, and Miss Olga Blanke, both of New Orleans, board members.
At the final banquet at the Mcnteleone Dr. George Hauser was toastmaster. Dr. Marion Hood was speaker.
