The 16th annual meeting of the Southeastern Assembly of Nurse Anesthetists will be held at the Jung hotel Wednesday through Friday in connection with the conference of the Southeastern hospital Association.
Members will be addressed Wednesday after the opening of the meeting by Dr. Alton Oschner who will discuss, '"The Role of the Nurse Anesthetist," and Dr. Maurice Compagna, who will talk on "Tuberculosis and Anesthesia."
Thursday's speakers will include Dr. Thomas S. Griggs, Dr. William A. Sodeman, Dr. Neal Owens, Dr. John Adriani and Dr. B. Bernard Weinstein. Dr. Griggs will discuss, "Aids to Pediatric Anesthesia;" Dr. Sodeman, "Some Aspects of Cardiac Standstill;" Dr. Owens, "The Surgeons View of the Anesthetic Patient" and Dr. Adriani, "Pharmacology of Muscle Relaxant Agents."
Friday, Dr Walt Webb, Dr. Philip Johnson, and Dr. Lawrence 0'Neil will speak. Dr. Johnson will, talk on the subject, "The Cardiac Patient As a Surgical Risk," and Dr. O'Neil, "Anesthesia in Neck. Surgery."
