Dr. Chauncey Leake, vice-president of the University of Texas and dean .of the university' medical school, will lecture at 8 p. m. Saturday at the Charity hospital auditorium at a public meeting.
Dr. Leake will discuss the subject, "Letheon: The Story of Anesthesia," an illustrated talk of anesthetic methods. All doctors, nurses, medical students and interested lay persons are invited,
The lecture is being sponsored by the Phi Beta Pi. medical fraternity of Louisiana State university school of medicine, in honor of the late Dr, George W. McCoy, who died a year ago. Dr. McCoy was noted for many important contributions to medicine, particularly the discovery and description of the disease tularemla.
