Medical librarians from 10 Southern states were in session here Saturday, with election of their first slate of officers scheduled as a highlight.
Formed only last year, the Southern Regional Group of the Medical Library Assn. was welcomed at the Medical Center Library by Dr. James J. Durrett, dean of the Medical College of the University of Alabama.
The group, from Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas, met at the Town House yesterday.
