Dr. George W. Davis Jr., supervising psychiatrist at the Rockland State hospital, Orangeburg, N. Y., has accepted the post of clinical director of the Southeast Louisiana hospital near Mandeville.
The new state mental institution is expected to start receiving patients this fall.
Dr. Davis will be in charge of medical and technical personnel and direct training and treatment programs at the hospital The institution is planned for a 1-500-bed capacity and will cost about.$15 million, William J. Kross, chairman of the hospital board, said.
