Twenty-five physicians passed examinations conducted by the Louisiana state board of medical examiners in New Orleans last month, it was announced by Dr. !Edmund L. Leckert, president.
All of the board members were present at the examination session, Besides Dr. Leckert, they are Dr. Rhett McMahon, vice-president, Baton Rouge; Dr. Leon J. Menville, New Orleans; Dr. Charles M. Horton, Franklin, and Dr. Roy B. Harrison, secretary-treasurer, New Orleans.
One applicant appeared for examination in chiropody and was successful. He was Dr. Donald Vito Joseph Zichichi, New Orleans.
Forty-nine physicians were granted certificates to practice medicine in Louisiana on the basis of reciprocity.
