Hospitals in France had altered part of their technique in caring for premature babies, and included some of Miss Robertson's suggestions in their handling methods.
Miss Robertson, who helped organize the world famous premature center at Charity Hospital, was sent to Europe by the World Health Organization. She returned Oct. 20. As nurse consultant in premature infant care, she was assigned to France where she worked in the University of Paris Nursing School.
In exchange, a French doctor and nurse toured the United States to learn more of the methods of caring for premature babies. They stayed three months, conferred with Miss Robertson when they got back to France...
