ll seven candidates for the School Board in the Nov. 7 elections have accepted an invitation to attend a meeting today on school lunches, according to Dr. Ralph V.Platou.
Each candidate will be asked to describe briefly his attitude on school lunches at a conference at 4 p. m. in the Charity Hospital auditorium. Dr. Platou, chairman of the Orleans Parish Child Health Committee's subcommittee on school lunches, will preside.
Other speakers will be Dr. Myron E. Wegman, who will outline the past work of the committee; Dr. Wynn R. Irvine, representing the dental profession; and Mrs. Frances Halbert, representing the dietetic profession.
