The Louisiana Division, American Cancer Society, will spend almost $100,000 during the 1950-51 fiscal year.
This was announced yesterday after the annual meeting of the group Friday.
The annual budget is based on this year's campaign—the most successful fund-raising campaign in the history of the division.
Leonard M. Wise, New Orleans insurance executive and state chairman of the 1950 campaign, was elected division president. He succeeds Gary E. Gillis, who was named to the executive committee.
Mrs. E. Gordon Wright of Monroe, who has served on the board of directors and with the Ouachita Parish Unit, will direct volunteer services throughout the state.
