| Facilitator Log | 2:30 ESC has been living with BS for more than 30 years as a housekeeper, nanny, and friend. ESC grew up in New Roads, LA. She first went to work for Miss Stella when ESC was 5 years old. ESC's mother had died during childbirth and her father couldn't take care of ESC and her sister. ESC's grandparents died soon after in the flu epidemic. ESC went to live with Miss Stella's family and helped out around the house. 11:45 New Roads, LA was a very small town. ESC went to school 3 months out of the year, and only though the 2nd grade, 19:00 ESC's sister was 2 years older than her. ESC's father was hard on them. He would beat ESC if she did anything wrong. One time he got so mad that he cut off all of ESC's hair. 23:30 ESC has helped to raise many, many children in her life. She gets along so well with children. 30:00 WSC and BS love Christmas. They always decorate a huge tree in front of their house. |
