Her father ran the family bowling alley and life revolved around the bowling alley. 4:00 Her mother had a degree in home economics and was a dedicated homemaker. She made the kids eat healthy meals. 11:00 Mimi met her husband, Robert Burpee, at a play. She remembers sitting across the table from him and thinking she would marry him. 14:50 He made all moments fun. He was full of joy and would make people comfortable. 20:43 Her hardest moment was when he died and she had to tell the kids. Her family and friends got closer and helped her pull through those times. |
