| Title | Disney through the years : a study of Disney as a reflection of the twentieth century American middle class |

| Abstract/Introduction | To understand the Walt Disney Corporation through the years is to understand that the middle class and their attitudes are what make Disney. Mickey Mouse is not a elite character. He was born a character of the people for a reason. Walt Disney knew that he had to shape his company around the middle class to be successful. In its most basic sense the theory is a selling technique. However, it is a technique that has assured the success of the Disney company. |
