Abstract/Introduction	The current study was to investigate how teachers' knowledge and misconceptions of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) relate to background, training, and experience. It was predicted the most significant factor was whether teacher taught in an elementary or secondary school because of training differences. Ninety-nine teachers were given a sixty question instrument. The thirty-nine questions that assessed ADHD knowledge and misconceptions were the Knowledge of Attention Deficient Disorders Scale (KADDS) developed by Sciutto, Terjesen, and Bender Frank (2000). Ten research hypotheses were tested using factor analyses with varimax rotation, the t statistic, and the Pearson Correlation. The results support two important conclusions. First, although relationships among ADHD knowledge or misconceptions and whether a teacher taught elementary or secondary are small, significant differences do exist for ADHD knowledge. Second, a significant relationship to ethnicity among the ethnicity and ADHD misconceptions exist, as does a difference in misconceptions between ethnicities.
