Groundbreaking - Construction of a new $21.1 million wing at LSU Medical Center here
began Thursday afternoon. Participating in groundbreaking ceremonies for the 11-story wing
were, left to right, LSUMC Chancellor Dr. Allen Copping, LSUMC Dean Dr. Ike Muslow and Gov
Dave Treen. The wing will provide new operating rooms, modern patient beds and additional
