Hall Named
Director
Of CMMC
Robert C. Hall was named
yesterday as director of
Confederate Memorial
Medical Center.
Hall, the first nonmedical
director in the hospitals
history, has served as acting
director since the resignation
of Dr Rod Yeager as director
in April.
Announcement of the
appointment was made last
night by Wayne Heap,
director of the division of
hospitals, Louisiana Health
and Human Resources
Administration.
Hall joined CMMC in
September, 1961, as chief
accountant and was named
assistant administrator in
August, 1964 In January,
1973, Hall assumed the post of
director of administration.
A Byrd High School
graduate, Hall holds a B S
degree in accounting from
Louisiana State University in
Baton Rouge He is a certified
public accountant and a
notary public
A clinical assistant
professor of medical
administration at the LSU
School of Medicine in
Shreveport, Hall has also held
teaching positions at LSU in
Baton Rouge, Centenary
Robert C. Hall
College and Baptist Christian
College.
He is a deacon of
Emmanuel Baptist Church
and chairman of the church's
finance committee Hall and
his wife, the former Nell
Register, have two daughters
