Gay Nell Bates has been
named winner of the second
annual Louisiana State Univer-sity
Foundation Staff Incentive
Award at the LSU-Shreveport
School of Medicine.
Mrs. Bates is stenographer-clerk
in the Department of
Physiology and Biophysics at
the school.
The a w a r d was presented
yesterday by Dr. Edgar Hull,
dean of the school.
A 11 nonaeademic employes
are eligible for nomination for
the award. The winner gets a
plaque and a $100 cash award.
Any regular employe of the
school could make a nomination
for the award.
The recipient was selected on
basis of superior work perform-ance.
