Dr. H. J. Quinn
To Head Medical
Division of UF
The medical division chair-manship
for the coming Unit-ed
Fund d r i v e has been
accepted by Dr. Harold J.
Quinn, it was announced by
professional division c h a i r -
man, T. Haller Jackson Jr.
Dr. Quinn practices medi-cine
with his associates in the
offices of Doctors Pou, Quinn
and Watkins. He is a native of
Shreveport and has been in
his practice for the past 10
years here.
He attended Washington and
Lee University, receiving his
B.S. degree in 1954. Dr. Quinn
received his M.D. in 1958 from
Tulane University M e d i c a l
School.
The new chairman of the
United Fund medical commit-tee
is an associate clinical
professor of Otolaryngology at
L.S.U. School of Medicine in
Shreveport. He is a member
of the Board of Trustees of
Jesuit High School in this city
and a former member of the
boards of Trustees of Jesuit
High School in this city and a
former member of the boards
of Community Concerts and
the Shreveport Symphony. He
also belongs to the Shreveport
Country Club and the Shreve-port
Club.
Dr. Quinn has a wife, Judith
Crow Quinn, and two sons,
David and John. They are
m e m b e r s of St. Joseph's
Church in Shreveport.
The medical unit went over
its quota last year, during the
United Fund drive. The 1972
UF campaign will begin in the
e a r 1 y fall in Caddo and
Bossier parishes.
