Committees
Appointed
Members and chairmen of the
committees of the Shreveport
Medical Society organized to
make studies concerning the new
medical school planned in Shreve-port
have been announced by
Dick Thevenot of the public af-fairs
department of the Shreve-port
Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Joe E. Holoubek is gen-eral
chairman of the society's
committees formed to lay plans
for the school.
The Medical School Survey
Committee was formed to study
existing, in construction or pro-posed
medical schools throughout
the country and to report its find-ings.
Members are Dr. Charles L.
Black, chairman; Dr. N. J. Ben-der,
Dr. Melvin Johnson, Dr.
Heinz Faludi, Dr. Andrew Mul-len,
Dr. Karr Shannon, Dr. Har-old
Levy, Dr. Robert Womack,
Dr. Charles Knight and Dr. Alice
Baker Holoubek.
