Mississippi Doctor to Talk
At Urological Seminar Here
Guest speaker for LSU School of
Medicine at Shreveport urological
seminar Thursday and Friday will be
Dr. W. Lamar Weems of Jackson, Miss.
Weems is chief of the division of
urology at the University of Mississippi
Medical Center in Jackson.
The continuing medical education
program will be held at Confederate
Memorial Medical Center (CMMC)
auditorium.
Faculty members from LSU medical
school to participate on the program will
be Dr. Erich K. Lang, Dr. Joseph A. Lit-tle,
Dr. Claude M Pasquier, Dr. Eugene
C. St. Martin, Dr James M. Thomson,
Dr. B. E. Trichel, Dr. Raymond W. Tur-ner,
Dr. Burton C. West and Dr. Charles
T. Womack.
Dr. Weems received his MD degree
from Baylor University College of
Medicine in 1956 and served internship at
CMMC 1956-57.
His residencies were taken at Univer-sity
of Mississippi Medical Center in
general surgery and in urology at
University of Mississippi Medical Center
and Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. W. L. Weems
