Dr. Gary Brooks, assistant
professor in the Department
of Obstetrics and Gynecology
at the Louisiana State
University School of Medicine
in Shreveport, has been
named a diplomate of the
American Board of Obstetrics
and Gynecology.
To become a diplomate, a
physician must have served
three years of an approved
residency, and passed both
w r i t t e n and oral
examinations.
Brooks is clinical director of
Confederate Memorial
Medical Center.
He received the bachelor's
degree from Louisiana Tech
and the medical degree from
LSU Medical School at New
Orleans.
He served both his
internship and residency at
Confederate.
