Talk at Med
School Rites
Gov. Edwin W. Edwards will
deliver the address at the first
graduation exercises of Louisia-na
State University Medical
School at Shreveport, Saturday
May 26 at 10:30 a.m. at the
Civic Theater.
There are 31 in the senior
class at the school.
Dr. William Stewart of New
Orleans chancellor of the LSU
Medical Center, will bring
g r e e t i n g s , according to Dr.
William T. McElroy Jr., assist-ant
dean for student affairs,
who is chairman of the Gradua-tion
Committee.
The candidates for graduation
will be presented by Dr. Edgar
Hull, dean to Stewart, who will
present them to Dr. Martin D.
Woodin, president of the LSU
System. Woodin will present the
diplomas.
McElroy will preside at the
ceremonies.
Also present at the graduation
will be the deans of the LSU
Medical Center Schools of Pen-tistry,
Medicine, Allied Health,
Nursing and Graduate.
