Fourteen LSU Graduates to Intern Here
Fourteen physicians graduat-ing
from the Louisiana State
University School of Medicine in
New Orleans this year plan to
continue their training at
Confederate Memorial Medical
Center in Shreveport.
Eighty-two , of the 134 physi-cians
graduating will be in
post-graduate internship or resi-dency
training in six hospitals
across the state during the
coming year.
They will also train at Charity
Hospital in New Orleans, Earl
K. Long Memorial Hospital in
Baton Rouge, Lafayette Charity
Hospital, Ochsner Foundation
Hospital in Jefferson Parish and
U.S. Public Health Service
Hospital in New Orleans.
Twenty-three of the graduates
will go directly to the armed
torces and the remaining 29 will
be trained at teaching hospitals
in other states.
