Dr. Joseph A. Little, head of
the Department of Pediatrics at
the LSU School of Medicine at
Shreveport, has been elected
president of the Caddo-Bossier
Day Care Association.
other officers are Al Mazur,
first vice president; Hall N.
Stroud, second vice president;
Dorothy Risinger, secretary;
Mavice Wallette, assistant sec-retary;
Donald Zadeck, treasur-er;
and Arnold Falk, assistant
treasurer.
. Nancy Alexander is executive
director.
Named directors were Suz-anne
Cordell, Dorothy Dixon,
Diane Ely, B e a t r i c e Enloe,
Doris Gates, the Rev. Charles
Gerlach, Jewell Guy, Mrs. John
Hussey, Jewell Jones, Max
Murphy, Dr. Katye Lee Posey,
Mrs Andrew Querbes Jr., Dula
Redic, Lucille Sawyer, Dr. Pat-tie
Van Hook, Andrew Walker
and Mrs. Jacques Wiener.
Also named to the board were
Falk, Little, Mazur, Miss Risin-ger,
Stroud and Mrs. Wallette.
The Caddo-Bossier Day Care
Association was formed last
July by the Community Council
to develop broader day care
services by implementing edu-c
a t i o n a l , social, and health
services through staff training,
parental involvement and the
use of volunteer personnel.
The association assists in the
recruitment, orientation a nd
training of volunteers.
The four centers are Bossier
City Day Center, Genevieve Day
Care Center, Mount Moriah Day
Care Center and St. Mary Day
Care Center.
