Dr. Edgar Hull, dean of the
Louisiana State University Medi-cal
School at Shreveport, yester-day
discussed the various com-plications,
treatment, responses
and chances of recovery of
patients with cardiac complica-tions
at a meeting sponsored by
the Louisiana Heart Association.
The weeklong seminar on "The
Role of the Registered Nurse in
Coronary Intensive Care Units"
is being held at Schumpert
Hospital and is being sponsored
by the Louisiana Heart Associa-tion.
Today and tomorrow the
nurses will be assigned to
coronary intensive care units at
Schumpert, Willis-Knighton and
Bossier City General hospitals.
