Staff Hike
The Confederate M e m o r i a 1
Medical Center Board of Direc-tors
last night approved seven
doctors as' members of the
visiting medical staff of the
hospital.
The doctors, all of whom
received senior privileges, are
Dr. Bruce Odell Brian, Dr.
Thomas Archie Grant, Dr. John
Cullum Marshall, all radiology,
Dr. Anna Don Cummings, pedia-trics;
Dr. Boris Frohman, general
surgery; and Dr. Robert Todd
Lafargue, internal medicine.
The board also accepted the
resignation of Dr. Bryson Jones,
acting head of the Department of
Radiology.
Dr. Edgar Hull, dean of the
Louisiana State University Med-ical
School at Shreveport, gave a
progress report on the school.
In other action, the men
approved a raise for Dr, F. C.
Rembert, Department of
Anesthosiology whose annual
salary was hiked from $19,000 to
$20,500, and the salary of Dr.
Edith Smith, pediatrics, who
works part time, was raised
from $500 per month to $625 per
month.
