Postgraduate Radiology Day Planned
The Department of Radiology
of the Louisiana State University
School of Medicine in Shreveport
will sponsor a postgraduate day
Wednesday at Confederate Me-morial
Medical Center.
Speakers will be Dr. Richard
Friedenberg, p r o f e s s o r and
chairman of the Department of
Radiology of the New York
Medical College, New York City;
Dr. Leon Love, professor and
chairman of the Department of
Radiology, Loyola University,
Chicago, and Dr. Erich K. Lang
head of the Department of
Radiology at LSU.
The program is acceptable for
six hours of credit from the
American Academy of General
Practice.
Registration will be held from
8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Dr. Friedenberg will discuss
"Papillary Necrosis of the Kid-ney,"
and "Tuberculosis of the
Kidney and Ureter" during the
morning sesson and "Review of
Radiological Abnormalities of the
Adult Urethra" at the 1:30 p.m.
afternoon meeting.
Speaking on "Arteriography in
Abdominal Trauma" at the
morning session and "Flat Plate
of the Abdomen in the Diagnosis
of Abdominal Trauma" at the
afternoon session will be Dr.
Love.
Dr. Lang's topic in the morn-ing
will be "Arteriographic Diag-nosis
of Neurovascular Compres-sion
Syndromes," and in the
afternoon, "Pantopaque Ventri-culography
of the Posterior
Fossa."
Dr. Love, Dr. John Greer, Dr.
Lang and Dr. Friedenberg will
be in charge of a panel at 3:45
p.m.
Dr. Friedenberg has served in
his present capacity for two
years. He is coauthor of "Atlas
of Genital-Urinary Radiology."
Dr. Love served as director of
the Cook County Department of
radiology for seven years.
