Scholarship Winners Buddy Ritchie and Larry Easterling (standing, left to
right), students from the Louisiana State University Medical Center, are shown working
with Paul Young, a client of Louisiana Association for the Blind. Ritchie and Easterling
each received a $500 scholarship from the Association, with the hope of piquing their
interest in rehabilitation problems for the blind. Their applications were chosen by a
committee of the Louisiana Association for the Blind Board, headed by Dr. James Ganley
and John Kelsall.
