BATON ROUGE - The following
is a list of Caddo-Bossier construction
projects contained in the 1982-83 cap-ital
outlay bill as approved by the
Legislature.
Those projects vetoed by Gov.
David Treen are in boldface.
CASH PORTION
State Buildings:
• Shreveport State Office Building,
renovations, $50,000.
• Shreveport National Guard Ar-mory,
renovations, $500,000.
Cultural and recreational facilities:
• Cross Bayou Industrial Museum,
Sbreveport, planning funds, $50,000.
• Lake Bistineau State Park, con-struction,
$500,000.
Highways, Airports and \Water-ways:
• Statewide highway construction
for roads listed by priority of need in
a recommendation to the Office of
Highways .by the Legislature, $342.8
million.
• Industrial Loop. Shreveport (La.
526), construction, $3 million.
• Airline Drive, Bossier City (La.
3105), right-of-way acquisition and
construction, $1 million.
• Red River Parkway, Bossier
City, planning, $750,000.
Education:
• LSU Medical Center-Shreveport,
modernization of hospital equipment,
$2 million; planning of renovations to
Nursing School Building, $360,000; in-terim
renovations to nursing school,
$358,000.
• LSU-Shreveport, planning a new
administration building, $400,000.
• Northwest Police Academy,
Bossier, renovations, $75,000.

• Ellerbe Road, Shreveport, con-struction,
$1 million.
Health:
• LSU Medical Center-Shreveport,
renovations to burn and trauma unit,
$1.4 million, and dietary unit renova-tions,
$960,000.
Universities:
• Northwestern, construction of
the new nursing school in Shreveport,
$1 million, and completion of the
utilities master plan, $250,000.

• Airline Drive. Bossier City, right-of-

• Construction of the waste heat
recovery system at the Shreveport
