Doctor Gets
Promotion at
Local School
Dr. W. T. McElroy, assistant
dean at the Louisiana State
University Medical School at
Shreveport, has been promoted
to associate dean in charge of
student affairs administrations
and records, Dr. Edgar Hull,
dean of the school, announced
yesterday.
McElroy is also professor of
physiology at the school, and he
has recently been named a
member of the Louisiana Heart
Association's Committee on Stu-dent
Awards and Fellowships.
He came to Shreveport from
the Hahnemann Medical College
and hospital, Philadelphia, Pa.,
where he was assistant profes-sor
of physiology.
