To Speak At
Med School
Several prominent radiolo-gists
will be on the program
for a postgraduate radiology
meeting to be held Wednesday
at Confederate Memorial Medi-cal
Center under the auspices
of the Department of Radiolo-gy
of Louisiana State Universi-ty
School of Medicine-Shreve-port.
Registration will be held
from 8:30 to 9 a.m.
The program is acceptable
for six hours of credit from the
American Academy of General
Practice.
Dr. Richard Friedenberg,
professor and chairman of the
Department of Radiology of
New York Medical College,
New York City, will discuss
papillary necrosis of the kid-ney,
tuberculosis of the kidney
and ureter, and radiological
abnormalities of the adult
urethra.
Dr. Leon Love, professor and
chairman of the Department of
Radiology, Loyola University,
Chicago, 111., will speak on
arteriography in abdominal
trauma, and flat plate of the
abdomen in the diagnosis of
abdominal trauma.
Speaking on arteriographic
diagnosis of neurovascular
compression syndromes and
pantopaque ventriculography
of the posterior fossa will be
Dr. Erich K. Lang, head of the
Department of Radiology at
LSU-Shreveport.
