Radiologists
To Speak at
Confederate
Three of the top radiologists in
the United States will deliver
lectures at Confederate Memo
rial Medical Center tomorrow.
Speaking on "Recent Advances
in Radiology" will be Dr. Eugene
Klatte, professor and chairman
of the Department of Radiology
at Vanderbilt University, Nash
villc, Tenn.; Dr. Roscoe Miller,
professor of radiology at Indiana
University Medical Center, Indi-anapolis,
Ind., and Dr. Robert
Cooley, professor and chairman
of the Department of Radiology
at the University of Texas,
Galveston, Tex.
The session is being presented
by Dr. Erich Lang, professor and
chairman of the Department of
Radiology at Louisiana State
University School of Medicine
and at Confederate.
It carries four hours credit
with the Academy of Genera
Practice.
Registration will begin at 8
a.m. and Dr. Edgar Hull, dean of
LSU Medical School in Shreve-port,
and Dr. Lang will give the
welcome.
Speaking at 8:45 a.m. on
"Roentgenographic Diagnosis of
Congenital Heart Disease" will be
Dr. Klatte and at 10:15 a.m. on
"Roentgenographic Diagnosis of
Acquired Heart Disease."
Dr. Lang will discuss "Special
Roontgenographic Procedures
and Diagnosis of Disease of the
GU Tract" at U a.m.
Speaking at the afternoon
meeting at 1 p.m. will be Dr.
Klatte. "Intestinal Obstruction in
Newborn"; 1:45 p.m., Dr. Miller,
"Barium Sulphate in the Diagno-sis
of Small Bowel Obstruc-tion.";
and at 2:45 p.m.. Dr.
Cooley. "Pulmonary Infarction."
At 3:30 p.m., Dr. Lang will
serve as moderator with the
three guest lecturers as panelists
on a panel which will discuss
"Interesting Cases."
