Gets $100,000
The State Capital Outlay
Budget Board has approved an
appropriation of $100,000 for the
Northwest Rehabilitation Cen-ter.
The money will go to the
Louisiana State U n i v e r s i t y
School of Medicine in Shreve-port
for renovation and equip-ment
for three Linwood Apart-ments
units — owned by the
school — where the center will
be located. A $400,000 federal
grant has been applied for.
The center will be operated by
the Division of Vocational Reha-bilitation
in cooperation with the
medical school.
