Gets $1.8 Million
Times Capital Bureau
BATON ROUGE — Louisiana
State University Medical School
at Shreveport is budgeted to
receive $1,858,045 in fiscal 1969-
70, its first year of instruction.
The $1.8 million in the execu-tive
budget for next fiscal term
is $245,817 less than requested.
The budget was released here
yesterday.
The Shreveport medical branch
will open its doors this fall to its
first class of students. Between
33 and 35 students are expected
to enroll.
