The Louisiana State University finan-cial
affairs office recommended a $6.73
million budget for Louisiana State
University-Shreveport, and the LSU
Medical School in Shreveport. This
included $4.75 million for the medical
school and $1.98 million for LSU-S. These
represented increases of $1.82 million for
the medical school and $276,347 for
LSU-S. Also recommended for the
Shreveport institutions was a five-year
capital outlay prediction of $6.4 million,
in a vote of the LSU board of supervisors
sitting as a committee of the whole.
