Description	This report summarizes those emergency activities accomplished under Public Laws 875/81 and 99/84, as well as those under the various Corps of Engineers statutory authorities. It is intended to describe the program of relief and rehabilitation operations undertaken by the New Orleans District. In addition to recording the emergency operations, it is anticipated that the report may be of value as a reference for organization and administration of similar operations in the event of a future disaster.
