The Ohio. We now commence the directions for navigating the Ohio River, and as it commences at Pittsburgh, it will not be amiss to preface the more particular account of it, by short description of that place.
Directions for navigating the Mississippi from the mouth of the Illinois river to that of the Ohio, together with a short account of the towns on the banks for that distance.
Of the Mississippi, Its channels, islands, sand-bars, forts, bayous, rivers, creeks, settlements, towns, cities, etc. and the distances from place to place.
