Ma Chére Cousine
Ta triste mi?sive
m’est parvenue il y a trois ou quatre
jours. C’est avec la plus vive peine que
j’ai appris le malheur qui vient de
frapper la famille. Mais, ma chère en
-fant, devant la volonté Divine, il faut
courber la tête et se soumettre à ses arrèts.
En implorant Dieu, n?. devons trouver
assez de résignation, & de forces pour surmon
-ter les chagrins qui nous accablent dans
de semblables circonstances.
J’ai fait part de ce malheur à la
famille Tarrien selon tes désirs
Ma femme se joint à moi pour
te témoigner, à toi, ton époux [tache] et la famille
la part de chagrin que nous prenons
à cette perte irréparable.
Embra?se ta bonne mère pour nous
