| Excerpted text | Preliminary to their mobiliza-tion into the United States Army, officers of the 64th General Hospital unit, composed of faculty members of the Louisiana State university medical school, Thursday night were reminded thatj successful conclusion of the war "will enable us to live once more in peace with1 all the other peoples of the world." "We should be thankful that we have been allowed to take part in this conflict" unit members were told by Lieutenant Colonel Ben R. Heninger, unit director and chief of the medical section, at a banquet at The Roosevelt tendered them by fellow medical school faculty members. Voicing appreciation for university sponsorship of the unit, Colonel Heninger expressed the conviction that its members "will serve with the same dignity and honor that distinguished them in civil practive |
