The 81st annual meeting of the Louisiana State Medical Society .will officially open with a public meeting in the International Room of the Roosevelt hotel here at 8 p. m. Monday.
Featured on the opening program will be an address on -Medical Aid for the Aged" by I \ Edward R. Annis of Miami, Florida.
Dr. O. B. Owens of Alexandria, president of the society, said all persons interested in care of the aged should hear Dr. Annis' address..
Providing medical care and Hid for the aged is of great concern not only to members of the medical profession but also to those of all thoughtful crl> £ens, Dr. Owens said, adding, "We sincerely hope the public will take this opportunity to hear a noted authority discuss' this timely topic."
