The $5,500,000 250-bed Ochsner Foundation hospital is nearing com pletion on a 22-acre site on Jefferson hwy. between Coolidge and Betz. It is expected that the facility will be completed around June 1, and occupied by July. As important adjuncts to the hospital are the $350,000 Libby-Dufour residence for nurses, on which construction started last December, and the Brent House—a $750,000 convalescent pavilion and guest h0USe—for which the first piling was driven this month.
